This album is simply terrible. One of the most generic s*** I heard this year.

or, it actually doesn't have to be a case of regret at all. setlists are largely curated based on fan service. no matter how much he may or may not enjoy MOTW, it obviously wasn't his most well received record and he's no longer in that promotion cycle, so they're scratched. Kacey Musgraves did the same thing on her current tour, I think she plays one or no songs at all from star-crossed.

on top of that, it's a bit of an outlier musically and simply might not fit nicely enough with the rest of the set.
