I didn’t know JIK had songs that were 2 years old that went through the test of time. Interesting I must of been sleep when that news broke.

I think so too. If you look at his recent output like Ye, Yhandi, JIK, even KSG you can see he’s had a ton of great ideas that could’ve used more fleshing our and attention to detail

"I've been working on this album for maybe a year and a half now," he says. "I'll work on songs for a year. I go back to them, I listen to them more. That way I already know if they're classics and if they'll stick with you. The youngest a song is by the time it comes out might be four or five months and the oldest song might be two years old before it hits the album. So it's had a chance to stand the test of time in my car before I give it to the world."

Not just his car. West tests new songs on his iPod, in the office, in dance clubs and anywhere else people might listen to his music. Then he makes adjustments based on what he hears, repeating the process as many times as necessary.

Fam I understand all that. But this man said those words himself. So I’m just presenting a solution, if Ye truly wants to make another classic as he’s stated. Then it won’t happen unless he goes back to that mindset.

That’s like a fat person who was once skinny saying “I want to be skinny again” and me saying “Oka you gotta eat healthy and work out” and y’all coming in like “he too busy to workout”.......lmao I’m just presenting the solution to what he stated he wants

sure. it's kanye so that can happen at any time, but he busy enough with all the other stuff and don't see him putting in the time he used to, now. so not expecting anything iconic any time soon

I did. It’s kinda impossible to say cus Remmeber he was actually working on Yandhi first after Ye.

So how can we confirm he worked on Selah for a year plus?

Just cus he created an idea for Selah during working on Yandhi doesn’t mean he worked on that song constantly.

That’s the point I’m making Graduation Ye didn’t create a bunch of songs. Only like 15 and would work on them for like 2 years to make them perfect and see if they stand the test of time. We honestly can’t confirm that he does that now a days
