He has no unique flow or charisma anymore. He literally just sounds like he’s yelling on the mic on 90% of his verses since Post Yeezus/TLOP.

He was never a great “lyricists” but his flow/charisma is what made his rapping enjoyable.

I hate his yelling flow cuz it sounds too “try hard”.

The swagger flow from WTT or CS, or the smooth Mase flow is where he’s at his best.

Reborn was one of the few times he found that pocket again recently.

Because there’s so many elements to be being a great rapper. Even though he’ll have moments where he could “hold his own”, he was never consistently rapping on the level of Nas, Hov, Em, Black Thought, etc. Even he has admitted that in plenty of interviews. He just had the best production, best content and best albums back then which always made up for it...back then. Now? not so much lol
