A concise 10 track classic where he just spills his thoughts out over refined, polished production.
Talks about his come up in detailed ways we’ve never really heard, his rise, his present, his family, his thoughts, his future…
I’m talking produced only by Ye and some co production by No I.D. and Mike Dean and maybe just a few others.
No features, expect maybe a hook from Frank or something.
Thoughts on a solo Kanye album like this?
doubt kanye will ever focus on an album like that again
most GOATs come back to that focus including Hov, but it doesn't seem like he will at this point of his career. I think he will at some point though
Even over the last 5 years tracks like Brothers, NMPILA and Believe What I Say sound like the album OP is talking about. Plus If You Know You Know and Infrared for Push were classic solo Ye productions
Kanye has zero focus on albums
He just putting out s*** cuz he on a slave contract
Ye doesn’t have that in him. Whatever you call his energy is too much for him to be truly introspective. He’ll never do anything that clear headed or thoughtful

couldn't you just make an EP of his 'concious' tracks of the past 5 years to the same effect?
I feel like every year on this forum there are more and more people who wish that Kanye will make an album like this, in 2016 after TLOP I was in the minority, but now I think that people are starting to understand what's going on.
Kanye can't make an album as good as 4:44 anymore. Especially since he s***ted on his writing team for wearing bag packs.

I agree with this I think 4:44 is something only a few rappers can make and pull off well
