4:44 is overrated and ye could do better if he would really sit down for a long time

You may not like it but JIK satisfies most of the criteria in OP Its about as close to the kanye version of it as we are going to get

i think alot of people in the thread already summarized the problem he cant focus like that anymore the only plus side is he has alot of material and yet chooses to hide in his egomaniac cloak of protection rather than giving us some "4:44" divorce heat

jik does not even touch 4:44 lyrical or emotional depth, i personally want a donda sound with a more personal vibe to it and shorter tracklist

most GOATs come back to that focus including Hov, but it doesn't seem like he will at this point of his career. I think he will at some point though

Even over the last 5 years tracks like Brothers, NMPILA and Believe What I Say sound like the album OP is talking about. Plus If You Know You Know and Infrared for Push were classic solo Ye productions

    Brothers so good
I cried in da car when it came on in one day

  • Nov 15, 2021

    ye out now

  • Nov 15, 2021

He don't need to, he just gave yall 30 goddamn tracks of heat

  • Nov 15, 2021

    he not focused enough

Kanye can't make an album as good as 4:44 anymore. Especially since he s***ted on his writing team for wearing bag packs.

You think they’re gonna stop working with him

Ye doesn’t have that in him. Whatever you call his energy is too much for him to be truly introspective. He’ll never do anything that clear headed or thoughtful

I mean yeah it would be borderline insane of Kanye to match or even come close to matching Jay Z lirically

you have no idea what you’re talking about

you’re talking about the Kanye we have right now

The process does impact what art you end up with, and if you wanna make something as personal and soul baring as 444, using a hundred writers probably isn’t going to get you there

  • Nov 15, 2021

this 4:44 s*** don't apply to every artist

    especially not Ye.

idk what the f*** yall on lol

It could though so. Like take TV shows for example. Lots of people in the room and can still be super personal
