Most chaotic roll out ever. Might have killed the traditional album rollout in retrospect
Will be interesting if albums are handled like a subscription service with DLCs or something lol
i've said it from the start, this is his tlop. down to some of the songs
Yeah it's all over the place like Pablo sound wise
Kendrick stans would be smart and stay out of this thread but if they don't, it'll be interesting seeing how they explain this one.
Using this to big up Drake who dropped Hotline Bling in summer 2015 and then tacked it on as a bonus track for a summer 2016 release for more streams is insane mental gymnastics but folks gotta keep
these stan wars going somehow I guess
I also wasn't a fan of that but my main gripe at least is doing the Pablo where an album is already released and then altered after the fact. Drake has never done that to my knowledge, as far as adding/removing tracks. I think he's doing some mixing/mastering updates for the last couple.
Bro don’t nobody give af about that s***
Future makes more accessible music to the casual fan so it makes sense more people are streaming it
That doesn’t mean anything lol
And this is a business of course he would add that s*** should’ve been there in the first place, great way to end the album
Ah yes, you need a certain level of intelligence to vibe with Kendrick’s music
Y’all are literally criticizing Kendrick for NOTHING tho
Nigga just had the biggest debut of the year so far and the most critically acclaimed album that touched so many people
He adds an acclaimed song to that acclaimed album and somehow that equals a negative to y’all?
Y’all are so full of s***. I’m tryna hit about this s***
“most critically acclaimed” it’s like saying steph better than bron all time cos he was a steals leader one year
Nigga said stay out of this thread like it’s gang warfare and niggas in enemy turf, s*** got me in tears
Where you from cuh type beat
Ngl the day frank does this imma shed a single tear
I didnt cry when kendrick flopped
But I probably will Frank does
Ah yes, you need a certain level of intelligence to vibe with Kendrick’s music
yall only communicate in memes and wonder why real discussions about hip hop don’t happen on here anymore.
This is a false equivalence. It was released as a single beforehand and was already regarded as the first single off Views even before One Dance dropped. Same thing with how God's Plan/Nice for What were released as singles before Scorpion dropped and Drake didn't wait till the second week to add it to the album like Kendrick is doing now.
If you wanna use this as a point then every album in history that's ever had a single/singles released beforehand fits this category and that's just wrong.
When Views dropped mfs literally called it as a ploy to generate streams. Leading up to the albums release mfs was looking at One Dance, Pop Style and Controlla as the singles for that album wasn’t nobody thinking about Hotline Bling in 2015 as the lead single. Especially since he went and did the collab with Future album right after that, the mental gymnastics here is crazy.
Pointing Spider-Man meme behavior
It just feels like a freestyle to me, on 5 he sticks to a topic that is related to the album
nah compared to 1 & 4 it’s definitely not a freestyle
even the Rock & Soul features stayed on topic of the song
yall only communicate in memes and wonder why real discussions about hip hop don’t happen on here anymore.
Yall just drake stans w a thesaurus lmao
Using this to big up Drake who dropped Hotline Bling in summer 2015 and then tacked it on as a bonus track for a summer 2016 release for more streams is insane mental gymnastics but folks gotta keep

drake did a million first week. ol kenny boy did a double album like him and couldn’t touch half the numbers he did last year or for drake own double disc
just the reality of how streaming works these days. at most you could call it a deluxe track but really it's just there to make it easier for people to find and therefore stream
drake did a million first week. ol kenny boy did a double album like him and couldn’t touch half the numbers he did last year or for drake own double disc
This has nothing to do with what I said
You under 25 people really are addicted to hate.
Social media generation
Die Hard, Rich Spirit, Silent Hill, and Savior out now
Don’t act like he listened to the album lol
Social media generation
Yeah it’s changed brains.
