You’re not wrong, the other mainstream tracks go over better. But I also don’t feel like Loyalty and Humble have aged very well. God is the worst of it but I think it also shows how much he was compromising/reaching on about half of the album while the other half was still up to par
I’m not a huge fan of Loyalty or Humble either but based off what I’ve seen from the Mr. Morale tour, those songs still go crazy live. So they still serve their purpose I guess.
CLB is mid at best and you literally had to force yourself to like HN to stay on brand lol
CLB isn't mid and I didn't have to force anything with HN. It's a lot of Drake songs I haven't liked on first listen. Don't know what you're on.
no one in the real world thinks that album is AOTY. or even remembers it tbh
This is the official last ditch argument when you can’t actually formulate anything else in response.

The whole album definitely served its purpose of elevating Kendrick from a career standpoint. Which just makes the hiatus weirder. Like why essentially make your sell out album and then disappear

He went through some personal s*** and of course as we talked about earlier, COVID f***ed everything over and delayed everyone aside from The Weeknd.

Yeah I wonder how it would’ve played out without COVID

Damn it's almost like COVID... you know what nevermind

That was already 3 years after damn, and you know what if weeknd did fine I don’t see why Kendrick couldn’t have dropped
no one in the real world thinks that album is AOTY. or even remembers it tbh
Just Danny Brown, Tyler, Pusha T and a slew of other ppl lol.
If Joey sees this thread we’re getting nothing but Devastated type tracks from now on
He tried it with that Revenge bullshit and the reaction to that made him steer clear thank god

drake : god

Why you acting like each artists share the same agenda ? And I'd bet my whole bank account that you were probably trashing Dawn FM the day of its release (btw The Weeknd took 4 years between Starboy and After Hours)

Why do people always seem to forget that Kendrick was touring for all of 2017-18 on top of working on black panther on the road while doing it. U wanted that man to drop another album right after all that?
Plus it's obvious that this long ass tour he's on now plays a part in how he's presenting the album. That s*** was shutdown during covid

Drake fans have a weird obsession with Kendrick. He doesn't care about the truth he just wanted to push his hating ass point unprovoked
mm&tbs is much much better than damn.
with joey i kinda agree i hate to say it but really he fell off
You're going to see how wrong you are when people start posting their AOTY lists towards the end of the year
Nope
“The real world”
The good old metaphorical outside that apparently only likes Drake and Bad Bunny.
‘Metaphorical’
This is the official last ditch argument when you can’t actually formulate anything else in response.
u mad
Just Danny Brown, Tyler, Pusha T and a slew of other ppl lol.
None of those people are relevant in the real world
