US Day 3
GNX 25.1m
FATD 22.5m
US Day 2
GNX 37.5m
FATD 35.3m
GNX didn't have a full day till it's second day and so it's drop in it's third way was much smaller, which is great for it since it didn't get a massive surge of streams in day 1 because of the half-day release.
Drake is also a much stronger act on Apple Music and Pandora and so he amassed more streams from there.
"it’ll have the biggest streaming week for a 12 track hip hop album ever. "
kendrick stans are losing the plot
FATD first 3 days
Day 1 : 108.6m
Day 2: 74.5m
Day 3: 48.4m
GNX
day 1: 44M
Day 2: 74M
Day 3: 51M
FATD had 23 tracks btw

So, after 3 days, FATD has more streams? Gotcha.
GNX is projected to do 350-400 million streams first week.
No album under 16 tracks has ever debuted with 350+ million streams first week.
Nobody is coping, but anybody with two brain cells knew that this album was not going over 400K with only 12 songs.
Go look at my prediction the literal day the album dropped

Posting streams from Turkey and Uzbekistan
Good times
washed drake outselling kendrick at his peak lol no need to add anything
I thought Drake isn’t washed? lol

100 track album vs 12 track album
Don’t worry the next Kdot album will have a Taylor Swift feature and it’ll easily clear 1M first week
Y’all can say “no album with (insert excuse) has ever done more than (insert cope) number of streams” but this Kendrick album was supposed to be record breaker. It was supposed to be the crowning moment.
But in reality all it’s proving is that he’s still right where he was before in terms of popularity. At most you could say that he’s neck and neck with Drake, but not elevated above him. And if you wanted to be less generous you could also make the argument that he’s still solidly in third place behind Drake and Travis.
on a serious note
why is kendrick supposed to do the biggest numbers all of a sudden?
and even if he does, what would that prove?
does it mean he lost the beef if he debuts with 300k instead of 500k?
idg why this is so important
drake did 250k with dark lane demo tapes which was a 12 track surprise album with like half the songs already leaked no bundles i guess that’s the closest thing you can compare it to if you wanna go tit for tat with sales

people saying he’s bigger than drake now and he stole his thunder so his first album after the beef is gonna be the real litmus test for how big he really is
You’re a dumb f***
1. FATD has an entire album’s worth of extra songs
2. I never said he was doing 400K through streaming only with 12 songs, my sales prediction is on the first page of the GNX Sales thread, I literally predict 325-350K through streaming only
You literally said 400k lmao, multiple times, don't back track now.
I don’t get why you replying to that weirdo. Mf not into music just obsessed with streams lol. Ain’t he the one who said he changed his avy cause Sabrina was popping on Spotify during the summer?
you're so easy to trigger
Fan boys in shambles
Their papi only did 200k with his latest surprise release
They gonna say “oh it was a dance album” to cope as well when kdot outsells it with ease

FAM SAID PANDORA STREAMS MUCH HIGHER

Because people like fader have been coping saying that 2024 has been huge for him and have grown his career a lot, especially w the Superbowl and beef and NLU etc
yet his numbers seemingly haven't moved.

hnvm sales are kinda irrelevant a lot of people skipped it because of the genre there’s no real one to one comparison you can make on sales but if this gets close to mr morale which had a whole roll out that’s a W

Personally i would say that Drake’s numbers are often inflated due to his crossover hits. Which isnt a bad thing, but i don’t think the gap between the big 3 members is as big as the numbers would make you thinks.
For exp.
My mom and aunt loves songs like Hold On We’re Going Home, but they’re not Drake fans.
I used to work at Pier 1, and the middle aged white women there would be singing along to Passionfruit when it came on the store radio. But those same women is in no way bumping Jimmy Cooks today
He’s still huge regardless. But I feel like Drake gets a lot of numbers from older folks, or demographics that arent going to engage with his content much beyond a couple of dance and pop records he drops.
