95% of the songs have ATL rappers that haven’t even sold 5k in 20 years. And had nothing even close to do with the beef or Drake.
They did a great job on the album and it’s a personal 9/10 for me but it’s basically an ATL tribute legacy album with bling era production on it. I was hoping it would do better because I would love to see a return of that sound but I’m also not surprised it didn’t connect with people who didn’t grow up with that sound.
imma be real
young people just didn’t know it came out either and don’t really care for metro unless he already has some hits
That JID album is about to bomb commercially. I’m excited for it but I’ve seen literally no one speaking about it
he’ll get one after the fact

thug x future comeback single kinda came and went, with no plans to drop that album. lil baby also not putting as much pressure as before.
i mean if ATL is happy with the tape, thats good for them just in terms of overall appeal it seems like they lost some sauce.
Real music loses
Wow, this is horrible. Embarrassing numbers. A certain group of people in this thread keep saying that features, genres etc. aint matter for a big act, so he should've sold way more with 24 tracks.

I think ATL was kinda already on the downward trend when it came to being the epicenter of rap music. The sound has been stale for six years

Producer albums are like… the ONE album format that’s commercial performance is entirely dependent on the popularity of the featured artists
Producer albums are like… the ONE album format that’s commercial performance is entirely dependent on the popularity of the featured artists
and when you don’t list the featured artists, it will significantly impact those numbers cause the album doesn’t even appear on said artists pages lmfao dudes be in here speaking matter of factly without doing any due diligence
tyler album was such a massive flop its insane
It’s quietly the biggest commercial underperformance of the year in rap music but for some reason people love to give Tyler participation trophies when it comes to commercial performance
