It took about 60 seconds for me to look up that Savior closes the show and that he's not wearing the crown at the end

So I think him relinquishing the title of Savior is part of the show. It's not inconsistent with the album's messaging at all.

I'm just confused by Kendrick at this point. He has a whole song revealing his flaws and demanding that we stop looking to him as a savior, but every performance since last year he's dressed as if he is a sacrificial lamb

Or as if he is Jesus like we see here with the crown of thorns and wearing all white.

It's just a weird (and lame) look.

Even if I agree it’s just flat out comical to make a whole album about how he doesn’t wanna be anyone’s expected savior or some voice with insane responsibility and yet he’s here dressed like Jesus screaming about women’s rights. Whatever ironic point he’s attempting the optics regardless are simply embarrassing.

This is why its weird to bring politics into music tho because he’s onstage dressed like Jesus saying “Godspeed to womens rights” meanwhile the artist with the most guest features on his album is a guy that pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a girl in high school

and he threw a fit when spotify said they were taking X & R kelly’s music off
