It took about 60 seconds for me to look up that Savior closes the show and that he's not wearing the crown at the end
!https://youtu.be/wAI1SE9ZauMSo I think him relinquishing the title of Savior is part of the show. It's not inconsistent with the album's messaging at all.
Two completely different shows tho lol
I'm just confused by Kendrick at this point. He has a whole song revealing his flaws and demanding that we stop looking to him as a savior, but every performance since last year he's dressed as if he is a sacrificial lamb
Or as if he is Jesus like we see here with the crown of thorns and wearing all white.
It's just a weird (and lame) look.
I think the look in this pic has more to do with his new found faith and following as a Black Hebrew then the whole “not your savior”nothing but the current look with the crown is different.

Even if I agree it’s just flat out comical to make a whole album about how he doesn’t wanna be anyone’s expected savior or some voice with insane responsibility and yet he’s here dressed like Jesus screaming about women’s rights. Whatever ironic point he’s attempting the optics regardless are simply embarrassing.
The whole “Jesus” aesthetic aside Just because Kendrick thinks that celebrities and himself shouldn’t be put on a certain pedestal doesn’t mean he can’t still use his platform to speak on current issues.

Yeezus tour s***
This is why its weird to bring politics into music tho because he’s onstage dressed like Jesus saying “Godspeed to womens rights” meanwhile the artist with the most guest features on his album is a guy that pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a girl in high school
and he threw a fit when spotify said they were taking X & R kelly’s music off
Yeah, he’s kind of a weirdo.
Looks like a lot of people outside witnessing greatness
And a lot of people inside commenting hate

You don't listen to rap music. Don't worry about it.
Kendrick getting so much slander tho, he in his Yeezus era fr. Kanye might’ve got more hate tho.

Fortunately for Kanye his album had replay value
Bro pandering to the hoes
