They retconned the character entirely so she has zero ties to Israel now lol in the movie she was apart of the Black Widow program. Pretty much kidnapped at a young age and brainwashed into being a child assassin for some Russian war general/arms dealer.

I'm assuming after the events of the Black Widow movie, after all the other Widows were freed, some went and joined SHIELD because what else are they gonna do after being forced to spend their childhood and teenage years as spies and assassins

I don't disagree with you forreal, but I'm positive Disney only scrapped/retconned the character from the Marvel universe as a money move. At the very least, good on them for reading the room and taking her wack ass out.

For what it's worth, Marvel has definitely been willing to call out Israel's bullshit in the past.
