How did you go about finding and pitching an artist on the idea because I’ve been interested in creating one as well for a while now

We kind of lucked out with our Artist. He had some more well known work published for Aftershock Comics, so it was a gamble from the start, but we found him on Artstation, and he was open for commissions at the time. Ended up turning out to become a year long partnership, and he's now a part owner/creator for Deep Theory and will be drawing the remainder of our issues.

I'd say Artstation is a great place to start looking, as well as Reddit and IG. There's a lot of hungry artists out there that are talented, I'd just try to find someone who has drawn comics to some capacity, because his experience really helped elevate our story.
