Hale was pure evil man.
He would’ve gotten away with it if bruh didn’t fold either 🤦🏽♂️
Would have benefited greatly from using classical pieces
Absolutely not lol it would've ruined the very grounded feeling of the movie
Imagine hearing that first song when the oil bursts out of the ground and not thinking its a banger

Nah i think time was always destined to pass him over.

Sounds straight out a car commercial
He did get away with it
He essentially got away with it only serving 10+ years but he had could’ve had generational wealth

F***in GOAT! But makes me wonder why Scorsese/DeNiro was annoyed with him doing so much improv if they were getting gold like this out of it.
Reminds me of The departed how Jack improved the whole “oh look, she fell funny” scene lol

Man no joke spoiler free
The movie ended like this
Dicaprio felt like fake Rick Dalton acting
Scorcese really wanted to tell this story though looks like a passion project
I've also seen and heard here and there before watching it that it would be tense, the movie wasn't tense to me at all
Maybe an unpopular opinion too on this but I didn't see nothing special in Lilly Gladstone neither
Felt like she let a lot of stuff happen to her - this not a critique of the story I guess just what I felt about her arc
Or maybe this is contradicting^
Usually when I watch movies I tend to try to predict the plot
If I can't predict it I'm satisfied with it, so I'm fine with this

Even when they are based on true stories?
Even when they are based on true stories?
I didn't read about the story I just knew Scorcese made a movie about something real that happened
Imagine hearing that first song when the oil bursts out of the ground and not thinking its a banger
Reminded me of modern era Swans, great track to set the tone
My only issue with the otherwise amazing soundtrack was that there was a recurring part that sounded exactly like you just booted up Left 4 Dead 2
