It’s just a mixtape lol neither is an L

Come on dawg, stop the coping you know it's a L.

Doesn't mean they can't or won't bounce back but these numbers are a joke. For whatever reason the project didn't connect with the market.

    Nah it’s a W

It’s weird but why do collab albums / tapes never do that good?

Seems like it’s always less then what they would normally do solo

You would think it would be more

less people are fans of both as opposed to them seperately

especially if they're at similar levels of popularity

If you not a big Baby/Yb fan you don’t even know about this project. It’s not even under new music on AM.

Not surprised, collab projects always do (relatively) low numbers

Seems like the only ones that do well are when the artists have proven chemistry together

  • Dedication 666

YB could do numbers on an album if he released like major artists do. The problem is YB still drops music like he irrelevant. No reason for him to drop a project every month.

Yeah, he's outdoing it. I'm sure his hardcore fans don't mind but for a casual listener looking to get into his music, he already has too much music for you to even get started. You'd just get turned off by having to listen to like 30 full length projects from a kid who isn't even 23 yet. Plus he's in a lot of mess and keeps getting himself into s*** that's not serving in his best interests.

I think that's the main problem. It's one thing to flood the streets with songs that have some variety but it seems like he just records a s*** ton of songs and adds a bunch of them together and drops as a project just because. That's a very silly way to go about a music career.

YB does numbers but only because he drops more music than 100% of the rest of the music industry. Other artists do 1-2B streams per year off 1 album. He does 2-3 times more than them in streams because he drops multiple projects every year and has a discography that's 5 times as large as theirs.
