Nas doesn't have the dexterity in his raps like Hov does anymore imo, phenomenal flow though

Che Noir sounded like a young Nas on that Apollo Brown record.

4:44 is a display of masterclass rapping and sampling, one of the best rapped albums of all time and No I.D bodied the production

King Disease contains very good rapping and production, and gives a type of daily vibes that maybe 4:44 lacks.

I find KD more enjoyable Sonically, album goes crazy when played on the background, very good vibes (the rapping is very good too if you concentrate on the lyrics). Perfect daytime album.

I find 4:44 more enjoyable if I sit down and concentrate, s*** is like a movie, HOV was pouring his soul out and No I.D samples give me chills, album goes crazy at night bumping It drinking.

Two very good albums, but I think I have to give the edge to 4:44 because I'm such a rap fan that I'm always going to focus on the rapping and crazy sampling more, plus Hov is my favorite rapper of all time. 4:44 is RAOTY of 2017 and KD is RAOTY 2020, both GOAT rappers

The only difference is that he isn't as wordy bc that's not how modern rap goes

Instead, he actually says a lot more in a more concise manner now

And still resonates with the listener on a human level more and touches on subjects no one else can touch on

There really ain't such a huge gap between the two. Some of you dudes get fooled by the money Jay spends on advertising. Like 4:44 had ads on buses and recognizable merch. Nas can't compete with that.

But Idk if there is a verse better than the one on Smile on KD tho.

    4:44 for me.

    King's Disease was dope tho

All 3 verses of 10 Points and the last verse on The Cure are top notch.. The Definition and King's Disease have great verses too
