The point was figuring out why people think it's OK to hit their kid but not a girlfriend if you justify it the same way you do with spanking
Depending on how you justify it the conversation changes. If you think you have the right to hit your kid because you brought them into the world then we talk about how there's all this stuff that goes against spanking
But shaq and a lot of others mainly arguing off of emotion in here (which is understandable given the topic), like you got people saying that kids will literally never listen to discipline unless it's physical when this just isn't true
