It's amazing tbh. It blows my mind that it was written in 1949, it is so ahead of it's time. The story and themes are more relevant now than it has ever been

Okkkk so on Amazon I see a paperback of Dune that is 704 pages. And I also see a unabridged version that is 896 pages. Which one should I get

So it looks like the unabridged version is longer because of the size of the text and amount of words per page. Don’t think there’s a difference outside of that

So when are we going to start reading and how we gonna break it up? are we discussing somewhere like discord or itt? and first month is Dune for sure?

Plan to start reading Feb 1st to mid March (since this book is pretty big). We can discuss ITT and I can come up with some loose chapter goals for each week, but we’ll just discuss via spoiler tags for the most part.
