CS Lewis - The Space Trilogy (Out of the Silent Planet, Perelandra, and That Hideous Strength): great trilogy of weird sci-fi with themes of Christianity and personhood, 1 & 2 are each about 200 pages and 3 is closer to 400

Tim O'Brien - Going After Cacciato: a Vietnam War novel about a group of soldiers pursuing a deserting squadmate as he attempts to walk to Paris, about 350 pages

Peter Watts - Starfish: violent, transgressive, horror/sci fi about a group of divers working in a deep sea power station and slowly losing their minds. ~300 or so pages

I don’t think we’ll have a week to week schedule. I want it to be as low-pressure as possible.

I love the fact that each chapter has its own chat thread and then a separate thread for final reflections! Cuts out the need for monthly meetings which would prob be a nightmare to coordinate.
