The closest thing to this I’ve heard, is people saying if the L can’t get em there, then it ain’t in the city, which I tend to agree with. If I gotta switch to a Pace/Metra bus/train, then destination is outside the city. I use to consider anything south of 95th, the suburbs cause the red line ends there. But you can still hop on the CTA bus into the 100s.
