It would be super easy to bring this franchise back. Start with creating animatrix 2 is a limited series, then get a talented studio like remedy to create a matrix game, then find a talented, passionate director with a vision to create a ground up remake. Honestly the movie part is easier said than done, but animatrix 2 and a video game are an easy slam dunk

Resurrections should have aimed to be more like cloud atlas with Neo going from smart phone to smart phone and entering different modals . The easy plot is he is going from 2004 to 2022 in time while also looking for trinity we would see how the internet and matrixes have changed and adapted
