America wants the world to look like this
Lmao yes. People being able to choose what their home or business looks like.
That is exactly what I want tf kind of argument is this
Dude whipped out a picture or homelessness in AMERICA to make a point
Homeless Americans are middle class where I come from dawg.
S*** was built after a world war ruined Europe. It was either this or homelessness.
Why do you think the only option besides homelessness was state owned housing?
Oh yea there’s no places in China Russia or N Korea that look like this
that really wasn't the point i was making
More bad faith arguments
It’s not an argument it’s a question.
I’d be more than happy to accept the fact that a society managed to maintain a system like this if I were to find one that has or is.
S*** was built after a world war ruined Europe. It was either this or homelessness.
And why doesn’t the rest of Europe look like this if that’s the case?
that really wasn't the point i was making
So what is? Homelessness still exists in America?
Like what? Lol no one is saying it doesn’t. But even then the homelessness problem is even worse in places that tried universal housing in the past.
You’re making it seem like living in America is up to par to any of these places when it is in fact not.
And why doesn’t the rest of Europe look like this if that’s the case?
Because Nazis ran over the east of Europe Sounding ignant rn my man

Not even true. I can guarantee you that percentage wise California has more homeless than most of Europe

If I pull up the statistics that socialist countries had less to no homelessness, you would only say "those statistics are fake!". You already made up your mind. Of all the things to criticize socialism of the 20th century for, homelessness was not one of them, trust me.

Bro what? Axis had so much of Europe. You’re literally ignoring Italy as a whole lmao.
Like what are you even arguing right now? Are you saying you prefer those disgusting rows of buildings?
Not even true. I can guarantee you that percentage wise California has more homeless than most of Europe
I seriously doubt that one American state has more homelessness than the entirety of the EU. Too bad I wasn’t talking about the EU either way. I’m talking about developing nations.
Yes Russia and China are developing nations just cuz their capital cities are westernized and commercialized doesn’t mean there’s not still people living in abysmal living conditions.
Maybe I’m spewing bullshit though, but I’d be absolutely surprised if any EU nations had worse living conditions for their homeless population than that of NK, China and Russia.

Italy was fascist.
The main front in the European theater was the eastern front.
You're completely ignoring history to thrash project housing from the 50s

Drop the stats bro
I’m more than happy to change my mind if proven wrong

Dawg how am I ignoring history?
You over here acting like Western Europe didn’t get terribly too. Everybody was getting invaded nobody was safe.
You’re not telling me Western Europe didn’t face consequences of war? To the same degree as the East, obviously not. But Europe as a whole had to deal with the leftovers of war and Eastern cities weren’t the only cities destroyed.
basing someone being a good person or not just because they are getting by in capitalist america is wrong
just because housing should be a human right =\= landlords being bad people

the point of this is not to focus on any one landlords morality. it is that the concept itself is inherently evil. it is based on making profit by charging people for a human right lol. that is twisted and nothing is forcing these landlords to participate in the system the way tht capitalism forces workers to participate in selling their labor

the marshall plan
This is not a controversial statement I would imagine but I'll also direct you to read this thread

well, f*** em.
well, f*** em.
Landlords aren't evil. None of us chose to be born into this society. Landlords are just doing what they need to do to get by / make money
Even if you don't think a landlord system is a good system how does that make them evil.. They don't have bad intentions or are trying to destroy anything or make people's lives worse
A life based purely off of what you need to survive is not a life worth living. That’s where I disagree with all this socialist talk. I’m not advocating for extreme excess, but the way the socialist advocates or rather anti-capitalism advocates talk makes it seem as if having the bare minimum is enough to placate people.
