    The 2 best director from Denmark after Jørgen Leth(a director Lars looks up to and made the movie “de fem benspænd/5 obstructions with)
    I think Antichrist is my fav from him.
    Breaking The Waves is also never left me
    Riget(The Kingdom) was great and I wish it had been finished. Rumours says he is working on season 3 now, but I wish he had made it back then.

    Never seen his 3 first movies. Melancholy and Manderlay are my least fav

    Some Jørgen Leth movies:
    The Perfect Human(the one he has to make again and again under Lara’s rule in “The 5 Obstructions)

    Fun fact: After making “ The Five Obstructions“ with Jørgen Leth, Lars began working on doing the same thing with Martin Scorsese but it never materialised

    I've seen his major works besides Riget. Nymphomaniac was the only one I didn't like. Melancholia is one of my favs. Dogville is a masterpiece.

    Fun fact:
    Dogville’s script was written in a 7 day vodka and cocaine bender and he changed nothing afterwards

    The danish movie called "De unge år" is written by Lars Von trier and is based on his own experience of going to filmschool
