    @soccerfanj I should add the concept is about trying to achieve euphoric moments in music. The running order of the album is inspired by a night out at a club

    One of my favorite albums

    Lana’s signature sound with more guitars and influence of psychedelic rock and 90’s alternative

    His best writing and best production on a Lana album

    This is my go to album when I wanna just read a book and relax

    9.5/10

    @soccerfanj
    Been playing this relentlessly the last few months, LOVE IT.

    I love how Solange said with this album she had so much to 'feel' and words would have been reductive, whereas the last album she had so much to 'say'. With everything going on rn being black can be tiring when you constantly have to deal with injustices day-to-day, I love this album because Solange executed exactly how we want to feel, tranquil, and not have our blackness be chastised.

    Love how soothing her vocals are, love the backing vocal artists (Cassie, Tyler, Devin).

    Production was incredible and helped encapsulate that 'feeling', the keys in the intro, the synths throughout the album, you can tell she listened to Stevie during the recording process.

    She really pushed things forward after the last album. Reminded me of D'angelo, I loved Brown Sugar and then Voodoo was so jarring at first but then became my favourite once I appreciated how innovative it was.

    10/10

    Jealous at how Australia seems to have a treasure trove of artists that manage to have a pulse and not take themselves too seriously at the same time.

    This is a perfect summer album

    Been listening to BLACKsummers'night and blackSUMMERS'night over the past couple weeks, and I'm finally caught up on Maxwell's discography. I enjoyed these albums a lot, but right now I think I prefer his earlier work.

    Looking forward to NIGHT, whenever it drops.
