    The Lighthouse
The acting from both was amazing, Willem specially imo and first time watching a movie with Robert, he definitely deserves the praise and hype he gets
The sound effects, shots and cinematoprahy were amazing too and im surprised this movie wasnt nominated at least for that.
    Great movie

    17 Again

This is a movie about Matthew Perry being a depressed dad, who is about to divorce his wife, who feels like he missed out on his teenage years so he turns into 17 year old him (Zac Efron) in present day.

As Zac Efron he is almost immediately King of the high school, despite it being a completely different generations he has no problem fitting in, all the underage girls want to f*** him, and he monologues a bully in front of the whole school.

He decided that his actual purpose is to help his kids, because he learns that they have problems. He befriends his son and advises his daughter to break up with her toxic boyfriend, which causes her to have a crush on him. He also tries to win back his wife, now learning she's actually a good wife.

He has a love triangle with his wife and daughter which is super weird.

In the end everything is fixed.

He also has a millionaire best friend who is deus ex machina of the movie and also "comic relief" (the joke is that he's a big nerd).

    Problems:

    • The whole wife daughter thing is sus
    • We learn the opposite message that he's actually better off as a teenager... As an adult he sucks and no one even wonders where he is and as a teenager he's a perfect flawless character
    • He gets back together with his wife, this is ironic because he was a toxic husband all along and one week as a teenager wouldn't change this
    • It's not a funny movie

    2/10

it's his best like his character is overly ambitious and narcissistic to get a "great story".
