it's his best like his character is overly ambitious and narcissistic to get a "great story".

Kirk Douglas really pulls it off big time. I also find it remarkable that he also manages to capture the character change towards the end without becoming too sappy.

I really love about how there is a literal fair being built around that mountain. Like how do I make this story any more disgusting and it basically celebrates the amoral response by the public. Exposing the entire cynicism of the news system (as well as politcal affiliations).

All Tatum was doing to capitalize off somebody trapped in the cliff dwelling for sensationalism. I understand that bad news attracts views as well as today like a shock video attracts views or inherently "clickbait". It's just another satire I like. Even compares to Kazan's Face In the Crowd literally "cancel culture" in a nutshell. lol

    Persona (1966)
This was a really interesting movie and really great too. There is barely any music used, but when it is, the timing is perfect and everytime it gives such a eerie/chilling feel.
Amazing shots and cinematography too, specially the few last scenes.
