Midsommar, the last black man in San Francisco and the farewell are some of the worst atrocities on modern cinema

    Jojo Rabbit | 7.5/10

Definitely took a little bit to really get into it and I’ll admit the tone is a bit all over the place but I still mostly enjoyed this a lot

    Parasite 9/10
didn't know much going into this one but one of my favorite movies i've seen in a long time, really kept me on the edge of my seat.

    Lighthouse 5/10
Had high expectations for this one because I loved the Witch and Robert Pattinsons recent films, but this one really missed the mark for me. Didn't seem to conclude the way I wanted it to and it seemed to build up to nothing.

    Climax 7/10
Gaspar Noe does a great job of making me say "what the f***" interesting watch and left me thinking.

    did you watch it subbed?

    did you watch it subbed?

Parasite or Climax? I believe both were subbed.

Finally saw Police Story, and holy f*** what an insane ride it was. The fight choreography is insane in this movie and it has some great comedy as well. I need to watch more of Hong Kong action movies cause this was amazing. 9/10

there are so many times where you think they're gonna turn the story to s*** in a really cliched way but they always avoided it. I was so happy about that. ´´´

and the fight choreography basically makes any western action film just look stupid lol

very curious as to what your favorite films are in modern cinema?

Watched the Thing on halloween. Kurt Russel's best movie by far. Its a down right oppressive film, with a lot of easter eggs that make it fun to research post watch.
