Clearly even the promo showed him as just a “guest” . We had misplaced expectations by how they came out and what ye did . In retrospect it’s not that deep

Even that isn’t a deep cut. Definitely not as big as the others but it was one of the most anticipated and notable ones because of the Cudi feature. I’d say him doing F***ing Fans or Pipe Down or YOLT would be deep cuts.

All of this because the only Kanye songs that moves anyone anymore are his best songs from 15 years ago and they wanna put Drake in the same boat.

drake dont have that bigger than me thought process to his music yet and thats why he performed new s*** tonight instead of giving people the classics this coulda been actually the greatest concert in rap history if he followed through

But HE didn't want to to them, so now what? Kanye wasn't going to move that crowd with songs off Donda or Ye or JIK so he did the songs he knew people wanted to hear and those are his best songs from his best albums. Drake didn't feel the need to do that and instead he did recent songs he hasn't performed yet. What's wrong with that? Especially considering it wasn't a Drake show. Why must you people always find something to complain about?

I don’t think that’s what the star represent but you’re right those were the singles from the album. Comparing timeless Kanye records to CLB songs doesn’t tell anything other then the obvious that old classic ye songs are gonna ring off more than drake songs from this year. Like I said before you’re probably right but the concert last night isn’t any indication of that.

Yeah the stans and fanatics in here think this about wanting a verzuz or some s***. It’s just literary that this could have been one of the best hip hop performances/moments ever and it was one big missed opportunity. Not even entirely Drake’s fault I mean Ye had a great setlist but his performance of the songs wasn’t too great and the stage was surprisingly boring.

Ye could def move people w Donda tracks seeing how well Hurricane, Come to Life and Drake performing 24 went btw. But dude just doesnt know his lyrics and guess doesnt wanna rehearse... so he fell back on his classics which was good imo. A show w only Donda and CLB tracks wouldve been way worse imo
