I think it’s definitely referring to the contributions to the world Kendrick has given us over the past 11 years.

I don’t think it’s about him feeling “under appreciated” per say, but it’s moreso in line with the Prayer leak, where he talks about things like The Jackson 5’s ABC and MLK’s “I Have a Dream” speech, saying that the works of man should be valued more than the actions of the man they come from.

“Look what I’ve done for you” sounds like Kendrick (and celebrities in general) would rather be judged by the great offerings of art he’s given us rather than any controversy he may have in his former or current personal life
