The crown of thorns symbolises persecution, Jesus was killed for his views so I think this album will have some very controversial lyrics and viewpoints that will Kendrick into some trouble.

As someone who generally gets tired of the talking points around cancel culture, TH5 had one of the most refreshing stances on the nuance of celebrity and loving/forgiving their contributions while still acknowledging their flaws and mourning their self-inflicted downfalls. It actually made me much more excited to hear him talk his s*** if the rumors about the album content are true (and all signs point to it)
