Now fast forward to 2019 and the FOC was basically Earl telling us that despite the high standards we hold him to at the end of the day hes just a nigga with his own shortcomings. That's what the phrase feet of clay actually means if u look it up. Savior in particular as well as other lines across the album sounds like Kendrick was tryna communicate that same message to some degree. It'd be cool if they actually met and spoke about this cause i even remember on the night foc dropped, top dawg or one of them other niggas at tde said they were interested in the album because of the title

I think hearing Melt My Eyez See Your Future inspired him to get off his ass and finally drop this tbh. Otherwise other niggas would keep dropping similar albums and this type of album would be played out
