Nah that is stupid honestly, like I said it's a pretty common way of dealing with it, I've seen it with family members and friends, while I would definitely like the song more if he had gendered the people in it right the all way through, at the end of the day the message of the song is one of acceptance and love and I feel like thars what should matter the most
