WESLEYS THEORYI know some people on here lowkey wanted DAMN part 2, but I am SO GLAD he did something completely out of the box. I've never heard Kendrick make anything like this before.
This is true but itās hilarious because this is Kendrickās most ānormalā album so because it doesnāt have an obvious concept propels expectations arenāt met and they arenāt gonna like it initially

But in the same vein, do we really think a conversation with Kodak, getting him sober for this record, letting him hear Mother I Sober or whatever, is going to change his life? That's what Kendrick wants to happen. He wants to give people those eureka moments individually. He doesn't really have a politic.
Youāre right. End of the day they are coming from a place of love to help. I hope that love is genuine though. My thing is, and related to Kendrickās words, dont fake the funk because they bully people (ex conās or not) with different opinions. Kodak included. I use bully loosely. Imo j Cole hit on a similar sentiment on snow on tha bluff.
Seems like Kendrick is letting things be. Im very familiar with Eckhart tolle, as he uses him as a therapist/teacher for his own beliefs, I doubt he wishes anything about Kodak changes.
Kodakās life will change for being associated with Kendrick, but Kodak is going to be Kodak.
