you acting like its gunna plummet to the 50s or something lol
No
I’m saying I can see this being more mixed than his last albums in the future
Crazy when auto generated music critics who drop reviews in 12 hours have better opinions than half of KTT
You leading the d***riding Olympics rn in this thread. Keep it up
you listened to this and it’s “sleepy”?
Yeah I was doing other things while listening. It didn’t grab my attention much, but seems laid back so that could be why. That was just one listen, I’m not critiquing the album yet.
Nigga what he endorsed f***in white b****es is u crazy
I knew that was gonna stand out to you
first time i f***ed a white b****
Will never forgive Kendrick for ruining a great Alchemist beat
Basic ass producer
Will never forgive Kendrick for ruining a great Alchemist beat
they flowed perfectly fine yall just weird lol griselda do the same yelling over them beats and u act like its the second coming of christ but just cause it's a back and forth concept it's automatically corny to u head trapped virgins
Will never forgive Kendrick for ruining a great Alchemist beat
This is my only complaint about the album. F*** man, that beat is so classic sounding.

The greatest album of all time guys
it's getting perfect scores across the board lol
i think it's gonna drop after a few days idk
Idk how you got resentment from this. This is the most relatable, sweetest album he's ever dropped. Not the way DAMN was sweet. DAMN was easy listening compared to this. This is "I'm not your savior, you are your savior" stuff. Putting the mirror on all of his own flaws and guilt and shortcomings. It's an album on the human condition. He's not talking about persecuted like Kanye. It's a lot more like 4:44 where he's coming after himself. Heart Part 5 lays all that out when he's talking about perspective and changing yourself from the inside.
I think where me and you would disagree with this approach is the lack of materialism, lack of politic, etc. It's all idealism, but that's why it's so relatable. This album has me reflecting on domestic dispute calls and divorce and family being strung out and my LGBT relatives. DAMN just felt like puppy love. This is a therapy session
I get what you mean and ofc the idealism is part of the problem in the end
And i don't think there's resentment towards people personally with him (except noname lol), many songs express great emotional maturity in his personal life
But i do sense some resentment towards society at large, not in the sense of righteous indignation like previously, but more like f*** yall you didn't wanna take my message, so ima do me lol
I cant stop listening to worldwide steppers
love that one
flow on the hook is crazy
We cry together already got a music video called Malcolm and Marie lmao
The bad acting too on point
Kendrick admits to killing someone(s) in his past on every album.
The torment and trauma that he constantly speaks on from murder, abuse and molestation, lack of fatherly affection, insecurities in general but especially in this album is jarring, and uncomfortably honest.

white people in the media when they hear something ambiguously talking about race
relationship issues ,family trauma , dealing with huge expectations put upon him
The first track is called United in Grief
We all suffering
