he's not self aware on tracks like this though. He's bigheaded, cocky and toxic, which is fine because that's what we love from him. But Drake has never even touched on childhood trauma like that in music
If my mother was abused I wouldnāt put it in a song, I hate when rappers like Kendrick or Eminem do that type of s*** of exposing your family trauma
You can be introspective and heartfelt without having to dig that deep, and Drake does that s*** and make it sound amazing like in Too Much, You and the 6
And I think Drake did the all the world has their eyes on me angle much better than Kendrick on this album countless times (time stamp tracks, Do Not Disturb, The Ride, Lose You, etc)
