when we gonna talk about N95 being a knockoff Industry Baby
Lmaooo f*** u
@Childhood what do u make of this album off first impressions
@safe you too
I definitely like this off first listen
Imma spin it again like in the next hour or so, but I think this is only gonna get better
The first three tracks really took me for a whirl lol. Kinda though the whole album was gonna be like that
when we gonna talk about N95 being a knockoff Industry Baby
sounds more like tom ford than industry baby wtf are u on
The last of us 2 of albums @Kr0niic was right
Didn’t even listen yet but this comparison just got me so hype
goated ass game
What's the consensus here on the album? I thought it was f***ing horrible, sounds like it was made in a month and will disregarded by the culture in 2 weeks 😂 Feel bad for the fans that waited 5 years for this yall ain't deserve this

why am i reading this smh
rocky avi
Rocky isn't capable of making an album this mid after a 5 year hiatus sorry to say.
criticism of “repay value” is usually the last thing a hater will use to criticize an album because they got nothing else bad to say about it
really dope to hear the music touch y’all the way it did
shows that everything ain’t gotta be PHD level deep for it to touch ppl
It’s the validation of the perspective, particularly from someone like Kendrick with the entire world’s ear, for me
Thanks fam
The way Kendrick said “nah you playin” on We Cry Together sent me idk why
The “HA HA I GOT YOUR KEYS” part
Yeah same
I love the intro most that beat is so damn good, i cant wait to fully grasp the lyrics
yea like you were saying yesterday that first 3 track run is crazy
Covers so much ground musically and lyrically and really just throws you in the deep end
worldwide steppers >>>>>
even the line about cancel culture
to me, when he says "What the f*** is cancel culture, dawg?" he's mocking the fact that people are so scared of this abstract thing called cancel culture
i don't think it's intended as some quasi-IDW jeremiad at all
because he follows it up with "Say what I want about you niggas, I'm like Oprah, dawg"
he's not afraid of this, he thinks its vaguely pathetic to fearmonger while at the same time reserving his right to speak freely
a stance that rejects the "cancel culture is bad"/"its called accountability" dichotomy and so should make both "sides" mad
I don’t get the Oprah mention tho. Isn’t she always super safe with what she says?

This album inspires me to find my soulmate
and then f*** up the relationship because of my vices
I definitely like this off first listen
Imma spin it again like in the next hour or so, but I think this is only gonna get better
The first three tracks really took me for a whirl lol. Kinda though the whole album was gonna be like that
Yeah man the first 3 songs is kendrick at his best imo, album doesnt stay at that level but im glad he made something so left and still managed to make catchy songs here and there
so he understands fully in the end but still uses the f slur & misgenders both his trans relatives? sounds like he doesn’t understand fully
yes because the song is about developing the understanding itself, hence why by the end he's not mixing things up and says literally "f bomb" instead of the word itself
I gotta find these and hear them now
I can’t fathom hearing any of this in demo form
Rich spirits demo
We Cry Together was executed so well. The ending is perfect
That post argument s***hit different
