nah he was just talking about his real life experiences. good storytelling
only thing i disagree with is him repeating slurs. the story wouldve been just as powerful without them
Nah apparently he knows kendrick personally and its not kendrick real experience thus pandering
Thatās such an interesting point of view Iām definitely going through a similar experience of asking myself that question along the line of ādid I suffer enough to even need to go to therapy?ā The people around managed to survive in worse living conditions and still managed to be stable to function as normal people throughout their life so what makes me different part of myself still avoid the help because I think took too much for granted and that experience is needed. Therapy is complicated because you can never know what person is going help you the most thatās why years ago I managed to skip the process enough to get a vague diagnosis and prescribed medication and took as quick as I can to avoid addressing whatās burdening me thatās had horrible effects though and I been off since and in a worse place. These suggestions are great man at this all that matters is taking a first step as long as your moving
It's interesting how we belittle struggles. People always say s*** like "No matter how bad things get, someone else has it worse. Be grateful". The thing is, someone somewhere on this planet has to be having it the worst at every point in time
It's not right to dismiss pain like that. And it sounds like you've been through some s*** fr, don't diminish that just because other people may have had it worse
Just recreationally experimenting with X**** has shown me how s***ty benzos and antidepressants can be. I felt my memory suffer and there's horror stories of people losing months of their lives, living on autopilot like Severance. That's running from the problems, not solving them imo. They have their place but it isn't the solution. Discovering the origin of the issue and adopting healthier coping mechanisms to address them works far better imo
sza on for sale interlude also at least jay rock and sza was on UU. felt odd he didnāt have on person from tde on it
I didnt know she was on For Sale
But yeah i dont think its a big deal, he hasnt had them on his own projects really since gkmc
pages of nonsense, Iāve done broke this man
Auntie Diaries is critic bait, and failed critic bait at that. The song not only doesnāt make logical sense it has insulted the very people heās trying to pander to.
But you do you buddy, put it on repeat for all I care
Dumbass
Nah apparently he knows kendrick personally and its not kendrick real experience thus pandering
yeah visionary wildin
im not mad at the lgbtq having a problems with it tho. however ive seen a lot of people understand what he was tryna do with it

Just because someone has a problem worse than yours, doesnt mean your problem isnt important.

But he's been on theirs a lot
But he's been on theirs a lot
Yeah i know
I dont think theres any issue with the members but his own projects he rarely has them on
"we may not know which way to gooooooo"
thats my fav moment on this. is that a sample???
Thatās my point my man, this wasnāt a genuine song. It was a gimmick he didnāt think all the way through. Itās actually illogical and insulting at the same time.
Was on Twitter/AIDS, the trans community dragging him for this.
What? some trans people on twitter are dragging him over it?
Welp, guess I should not think for myself and ignore the trans people that appreciate the track
Yeah i know
I dont think theres any issue with the members but his own projects he rarely has them on
Yeah I just think Kendrick is very serious with his craft and he rarely ever has people doing verses on them anyways, but I don't think there's any bad blood between them

Agreed
He'll have them if it makes sense but not just cause
He doesnt have any real connection to them besides q, soul n rock anyways
But yeah they seem to still be good

It's not hard to understand why the trans audience would have an issue with the way things are worded in the song

Facts. I wish I realized this a few years ago but it also just felt wrong to take free therapy at university when my main issues were smoking weed a lot, social anxiety, loneliness, low self esteem. That seemed miniscule in comparison to suicidal thoughts, living in poverty, sexual abuse and other s*** I'm sure other students were suffering from. I wish I took those few sessions I had more seriously and just built from there, feel like I would be in a much better place now
Agreed

I like how Kendrick was always giving people from his labels verses or hooks on their albums, it really seems like he was invested in it and just wanted to help his colleagues

Donāt let him get to you bro thereās always that one guy. This album getting universal praise.

Glad youre improving yourself
Yeah, im the person people usually use as a scapegoat to minimize their own or someone elses issues because ive a person that been plagued with health issues since a baby (i hate when ppl do that s*** too).
Its a saying i came up with to counter that, and to also not try to make my own issues "insignificant" for myself.
It's not hard to understand why the trans audience would have an issue with the way things are worded in the song
Of course and all arguments should be examined without bias, my point being that you can't just forgo this vital process just because some trans folk took umbrage

Did u hear the Auntie Diaries song yet?
Would kike to know ur personal thots.
I finally listened to it closely a few hours ago.
because kendrick likes him idk
Heās a convicted rapist, literally just contradicts what he says about sexual violence in black communities
i gave it multiple listens. s*** is taxing, he said a lot on here, but the message was all over the place
he still one of my goats but i wasnt blown away by this
the sound/rapping was more grating on here as well. kenny usually picks the most pleasant sounding production and rides it perfect. he purposely went left on this release it seems
Album actually feels like a therapy session
But yeah, I don't think people are going to end up listening to this album as much as they think. Some of the songs are just not enjoyable music. Putting it above TPAB is blasphemy to me, but I think I'd personally put it over DAMN
