From everything you’ve written in this thread that I’ve seen, you need some help. It’s actually sad.

And I’m not white, but it’s cool let your racism sweep through you - as if biracial people can’t be racist 😂

Didnt call you white, in fact i said you being white doesnt matter, i said i know your tactics from my experience from hateful white people that do the same thing as you

Cant be racist to your own race bro, seems anytime people mention anything white thats a trigger button for you

    You sounding pc af rn

Keep fuming over a song you dislike while being scared of the left taking over your tv screens and theres nothing you can do about it

Kodak is the “Big Stepper” ego of Kendrick.

Keem is the “Mr Morale” ego of Kendrick

care to elaborate? This the first theory I seen like this

    Congrats on ur move!

And thats dope! Thats a similar feeling i had.

I am straight myself but i have one trans friends, gay dude friend & one my aunties are lesbian.

I thought the song was overall sweet lmao. I do admit if you just read the lyrics or see someone post the hook as just words without context it comes off very bad to the point you might not even want to hear the song itself, which is what i think has happened to some people unfortunately.

But overall the song came off to me as him loving his auntie (uncle) & him basically apologizing to him & realizing everything.

The "auntie is a man now" seems to be a child version of himself learning about it but not fully understanding it. While the f words parts are just him not sugarcoating how things used to be, but i can see both those coming too hatsh especially without context, but even with.

But overall the song is about him recounting his memories of his uncle in the past to at the end them finally reconnecting after years when he fully transistioned.

His uncle was always one of his family members, and from his kids perspective he didnt understand why people were bashing his uncle. Some of his family outcasting him, some of the church he used to go out calling him a "devil" etc. even though he liked his uncle & would hangout with him even during those times.

And as time goes, his uncle tries to break down n explain why the "f word" is bad among other things like why people call him a weirdo, and as he got older he realizes more things about that conversation.

Its a really sweet song which i think the tone of his voice lends a lot of help with too. A song about the love he always had for his uncle, but also an apology. Apologizing for his past ignorances & the eventual distancing the family caused. Also him growing up over time realizing more and more things.

I do believe trans people have the right to feel how they want about the song, but i also hope those thay feel so syrongly against have listened to the track at least. I do agree some of it can come off as harsh, or just plain shocking, but once i finally listened to it im glad its obvious hes coming from a sentimental & loving place while not shying away from his past ignorances.

Its genuine even though an outsider talking about something that deals with the insiders will never be fully satisfactory.

Ooh I meant I was just going to other houses for parties and stuff not like moving moving but thanks anyways

And yeah you put it into words way better than I did, I'm glad the song is resonating with people who aren't directly concerned by those topics and that it can maybe make them more compassionate towards people like me and kendricks uncle and cousin, I really hope this song can be the start of a conversation that isn't based on ignorance, lies and anger

“ Its a common thing with hateful & overly religious white people. I know because some my own extended white family has done it to I/us.”

You got a lot of repressed racist anger. You need to get some help. Conservative/religious beliefs aren’t white or black. You can be a trans person and be religious,

See, it actually makes it worse. You feign not caring then insinuate it’s a white thing because from your experience it’s hateful white people that think this way.

And you can be racist to your own, ironically you’re doing it right now mr bi-racial.

You keep insinuating I’m white because it triggers me 😂 are you dumb? I’ve probably been called the n-word more than you.

Racism is racism, whether it’s directed to black or white people, whether it’s self directed or directed towards other people.

You have a very limited way of viewing things which is why you’ve spent this whole exchange rambling about nonsense and insulting me at the same time. You obviously have a very repressed issue because this ain’t normal.

If I don’t like a song because I consider it critic bait and manipulative why are you ODing?

Kendrick often brings up being a Gemini and having two sides. I think this album is the illustration of that.

On the first side of the album, Kendrick is more bragadocious. He is more ignorant, and seems to want you to know he knows everything and doesn’t need any help figuring this s*** out. If anything, he has some stuff he can teach us. He is guarded, and above it all on the first half.

In the second half, he realizes maybe he isn’t the all knowing, and has a lot to learn. He becomes more vulnerable, and opens up more about who he is and what he has become in an apparent attempt to forgive himself and move forward. He has hope and belief in himself to grow, despite distractions or negativity.

I think Kodak and Keem personify these two sides of him. We all have a dark side, but I also believe we all want to be good people and strive to. Kendrick is no diff. We all see him as this Jesus like figure, but he is just another man like you or I, with the same struggles. That is the cover art.

There’s a lot more going on, but that’s the easiest way I can put it without writing a novel.

I didnt call you white lol, i explained my reasoning and distain for your thinly veiled hate posts and where it came from. I dont tip toe im direct unlike you. Not my fault you exhibit the same behavior.

Dont care if you dislike the song. The issue, is with trans issues.

It’s irrelevant if some white people were hateful. All people are/can be hateful you racist fool. It has nothing to do with their skin.

Bringing up white people just shows you’re messed up and that you’re hateful. The irony is incredible here.

On one hand you have Kodak leaving a show and getting his d*** sucked, and on the other you have Keem finishing his shows and buying his dad a castle. I think both of these people have both of these qualities in them, but they portray the side they are comfortable with.

Just little examples like this and then from Kendrick throughout both sides of the album that portray these two sides of him, IMO
