Father Time is so dope. I had mad issue with my pops over the years but since the pandemic weāve been working through it, and really cool to have that relationship with my dad.
Your dad is your best friend bro, but heās that friend who really loves you so heās gonna check you when you slipping. But heās a grown ass man so heās not gonna put up with your bullshit either
Yo same here. Relationship with my pops was trash before the pandemic now we cool af
I listen to this album 2-3 times a day and I wonder to myself when I will get tired of it.
Not even close to it. Thereās so much to enjoy here. Kendrick fed us well.
Itās cause thereās a lot to unpack and you keep discovering something new. I donāt think Iāve even yet fully internalized the mr morale side, itās a lot going on

Facts
This album is his best cos it shows all his best attributes musically and contrasts that with him openly talking about the worst parts of himself. Itās a very complex and layered but accessible masterpiece. Something I didnāt think was possible since GKMC. People would argue DAMN did that but to me, Damn just feels like a greatest hits album attempt with no real narrative arc, which is one of the best things about a Kenny album
We needed this album man.
Count me out becoming one of my favorites every listen.
Idk why I keep thinking of Sunday service choir

One of my favorite parts of the album. Wish his voice keep getting more and more aggressive with the build up of the beat
The whole album is his perspective. First half can be seen as him ātap dancingā around his problems hence the term big steppers. But like therapy the layers keep peeling back as we move through the album until we get to the root trauma at the end
Yep
Crown is so insane man
ghostface sounds like a prophet on purple hearts
Iām really interested in how that came to be
Kendrick really did smoke on top 5 tbh
