I also think Mr Morale the song ain't all that though
Hate the beat and that "hydrate" s***
Not that hot of a take
It’s a cool song and it’s sequenced really well on the album, but it’s not top tier like United In Grief/Father Time/Mother I Sober.
I care too much, wanna share too much
In my head too much, I shut down too
I ain't there too much, I'm a complex soul
They layered me up, then broke me down
And moralities dust, I lack in trust
This time around, I trust myself
Please everybody else but myself
All else fails, I was myself
Out done fear, out done myself
Count Me Out disrespect is disgusting
God will judge you all accordingly
but disrespecting it is counting him out, which he loves
Count Me Out disrespect is disgusting
God will judge you all accordingly
These niggas never been counted out

I actually think that Diaries-Morale-Sober sequencing is the shakiest on the album lol I always feel like Mr. Morale should be earlier in the tracklist. Idk where I'd put it tho...maybe put Rich Spirit on disc 2

He needed something that separated the emotional heaviness of Aunties Diaries from the emotional heaviness of Mother I Sober and give the listeners a second to breathe and process s***. Could something better have fit there? Maybe. But Mr. Morale served its purpose in that position.

Mr Morale not going into Mother I Sober doesn’t really make sense
Lyrically one leads directly into the other
Yall gotta realize its more to sequencing than hard songs go together soft songs go together

Exactly I saw people saying itt that N95-Rich Spirit-Silent Hill shoulda been a 3 track run and thats disregarding what they do for the flow of the album
Silent Hill is perfectly placed because of how heavy Count Me Out and especially Crown are thematically, it stops the album from falling into one bag for too long
It’s be way harder to listen to this song run
Count Me Out-Crown-Auntie Diaries-Mother I Sober
I been wanting to reconfigure this album by adding The Heart 5, Prayer, removing some songs like We Cry Together and resequencing the order. But Idk if I could make it flow better than the current album, even though I'm not a big fan of the sequencing either

Removing we cry together smh
This album is the sequencing of DAMN, the heaviness of TPAB and the sounds of BP OST, DAMN & TPAB thrown into a blender.
just listen to the album man
No cap, I have not listened to it once since 13/05. That's just how I listen to albums though, pick my favorites and skip the others

How many times did you listen to it all the way through?

Ur not giving the songs any chance to grow on you, not just on this album but just albums in general
Your preventing yourself from growing to love songs tbh, im not saying play the album front to back every time but when im spinning an album ill play the whole thing and maybe give songs i dont like usually about a 30 second window to see if it ends up hitting me and you’d be surprised how often songs actually grow on you

Once, my first listen. I was bench pressing, got to that s*** and
I heard the leaks last year and thought that version of Rich Spirit was garbage. The album version pleasantly surprised me
But then I got to We Cry Together and I couldn't believe he decided to keep it on the album

I was actually going to say in my post that listening like this allows me to discover hidden gems
Because songs I always thought were skips ends up hitting me one day. A recent example is Happy Valentines Day by Andre 3k. Always skipped it, but I let it play a few months ago and that verse at the end
Can't believe I was sleeping on it

You really should give the whole album another listen through. This is one of those albums that in my opinion, takes multiple listens. One listen is not enough to let it all settle.

I've listened to every other song multiple times. I just can't sit through all that "Fuck you nigga, nah f*** you b****"
