It's flawed though because Prime hov wasnt 90s Hov, it was 2000s Hov and 90s Hov did totally fine in that era dropping just ok albums. He had one great album in the 90s.

Hov thinks MCHG is his 4th best album. (Every Kendrick album is better than that album. So the person you are claiming that Kendrick would look different against thinks an album that most ppl deem just ok to be his 4th best and that's above the output that you said that Kendrick couldn't stand next too. He thinks its better than every album he made in the 90s except Resonable Doubt.

This conversation is pointless imo. The mistake that you make is that you are taking his current personality and placing it to a very different era. You can't predict how he would have evolved if he was born 20-years earlier. You judge by how he evolved in the circumstances and environment that we know, he is the result but even a slight change in the environment can affect your way of growth. We will never know.

He later changed his ranking. Which is my point. He doesn't hold his other 90s album in the same regard as his 3 classics which lends to my point that Kendrick albums would hold up cause those albums aren't cemented

Nas wasn't big in 94 lol. Hov wasnt big in 96. Neither was outkast when theh kust dropped. Most of them hit max popularity in the 2000s. They made what is arguably their best work when they weren't popular.
