7 hours in and I’m loving every moment of it so far. The attention to detail in this game is nothing but spectacular.
i dont understand how a man can read off a bulleted point plot summary, watch a couple cut scenes, see how twitch chat is reacting, and say "yep i fully understand the game and i dont need to play it"

or just watch a vod and disable chat. not hard

I guarantee not a single one of y’all watched a 25 hour stream in full already with chat disabled and not a streamer that just reacts and echos twitch chat
Game is a masterpiece, spoiled neckbeard losers really salty over some character and narrative choices smh
need to read or watch a review that doesn't just dive into counter culture. everything I'm reading is just "neckbeards mad. Neil is a genius" and "ofc SJWs love this game"

i've watched 2 live. As in 2 streamers live stream the game in order.
It's not hard, and it's not anything new

there's a lot of the first one in the last few pages. You got two right above you rn

watching a videogame isn't playing a videogame

Unless it’s a David cage game then maybe it is
Why would you force people to play something they already know they won't like?
I see this argument so much, "you have to play it to know" and it's like....you literally don't have to. If it's not something you think you'll enjoy or if you're literally pissed off by narrative decisions, it's totally fine to express disappointment and not buy a product.
it's not fine to rate a game you haven't played because you're disappointed by what you've heard about it, what the f*** are you talking about
Imagine reading a 100 word summary of a 1000 page script and going yep it’s s*** 0/10
watching a videogame isn't playing a videogame
Never said it was, and I'd agree if it combat focused like GOW or DS or something like RE but me holding the controller doesn't impact me knowing the story or impact how I view abby.

Are you trying to say within 48 hours of the games release you watched 50 hours of streams of the game or am I misinterpreting it

I said I've almost seen the game twice earlier. One streams from 12-9, the other streams in the AM overnight
I stopped watching the latter though once the former began a playthrough though

The game is better than Part I in every which way, it's such a ridiculous claim that has overshadowed the most cinematic game of this generation
Combat mechanics - they've added the ability to dodge, crouch, jump, run and be able to slide in between cracks which makes it much more realer and engaging, the hand to hand combat is vicious and realistic
Response time - Ellie can smoothly dodges punches in the middle of an attack, reacts to near miss shots and actually falls and or gets shaken up
Exploration - Areas are 10x as big with a lot more hidden collectibles, doors and paths which you can spend hours on
There's so much more..
It's literally Part I, but bigger and better with much more refined controls and abilities which is why this entire fiasco reeks of adults crying like little children

Makes sense. I don’t doubt you got the gist of the game from those streams. Just saying though. Nothing compares to actually playing this game and calling it “a movie game” isn’t really fair imo since after the prologue it’s mostly gameplay
Wild how 90% of the people writing off this game haven’t even played it, that’s fr wild to me lmao.
Some people I know bashing this game haven’t even played TLOU1 lmfao

I didn't say movie game, but actually playing will not have an affect my view on the things like story, pacing and abby.
If anything it'll be worse once I buy this game because I'm then forced to experience it to progress. This game isn't interactive movie level, but it's not "different experience for your own play through either". I've played ND games, this one isn't different from the others in that sense.
