Also I frequent a lot of nerdy communities for example on reddit of all places that aren't toxic at all. The comicbook subreddit is actually really loser free and non reactionary if you actually go there

It’s a lackluster story in a game that is essentially an interactive movie.

It fails to deliver the only thing that could’ve made it a great game. There are no likable characters, important plot points feel forced, and a lot of the decisions made by characters in the game either don’t make sense or go against their nature.

Gameplay is fine but it isn’t good enough to carry the game.

r/thelastofus is also basically all praise

left out the ending chapters

the seattle day 3 as abby post alone has thousands of comments within hours of people who obviously didnt play the game and all the bad comments are upvoted to the top from brigadiers saying its bad.

Just yesterday or today idk they put up the ending chapters and its nothing but praise from people who seem to actually played the game since most of the brigaiding is over.

Thats not to say they all love it, but seems like lots of the comments that were at the "ending thread" were all brigaided

I just wished they innovated a lil with the gameplay but then again they were already overworking people as is

if you go through the separate discussions of the later levels it's pretty mixed actually

too worried about foliage then the actual gameplay

read what i just posted. they delayed posting the actual ending chapter threads so people who actually play the game can see those threads when they finish. everyone at first brigaided what they thought were "the ending" threads, the actual ending threads seem quite positive so far
