combining the two threads to clear up space in the pins
you know what to do, post title & rating
idk, interesting but I felt that the writing was unnatural; some stuff came straight from twitter. these uneducated women were spouting feminist theory
3.5/5
Did a solid job playing with audience’s expectations on a twist near the end but the whole movie I kept asking why Lily even brought her niece along? She didn’t want her to know what she was doing and it brought more heat on them
Nicolas Cage gives probably what is the most terrifying performance of his career as Longlegs. Some real spine tingling s*** comes from him. On top of the general fear I felt/am feeling, the serial killer mystery at the core was well done.
The imagery laced throughout the film is chilling. Combine that with a good score to accompany the film and you got some moments that won’t leave your brain. Even I didn’t expect this film to pan out the way it did based on the one trailer I saw. Longlegs may very well be the best horror/thriller of the year and I’ll stand by that.
5/5
Only watched the first two seasons so far. Show is dark but also has a slightly feel good vibe to it that I didn't expect. Not a big fan of the whole chaos scenes thing where everyone is screaming over each other. Jon Bernthal nailing his role whenever he's in the show. Jeremy Allen White also nailing the whole genius with social issues role. S2 ending made me think of Whiplash and I hope the show traverses the same "pursuing your dreams at the expense of losing the people close to you" theme more

Man I never seen Coppola Dracula
I’m having a blast what a banger man
Twister is textbook 90s blockbuster filmmaking. It’s on go from act one and it just keeps going. Rarely stops for a breath and when it does, it has fun character moments that help the audience connect with them. Love it.

Season 3 is less shouty
Season 3 is less shouty
Only watched until the second episode and there was a shout scene between Ritchie and Carmen. I'm watching this show as I'm trying to fall asleep and they committing audio terrorism in my bedroom

It's way less insane, but carmie and Richie are d***heads to each other until a certain point lol
mods really combined the threads smh
Watched this on Saturday with my girl, was pretty funny at times. Amazing what you can do with a phone and a good script.
