Saw this at a film fest last year
It's campy, it's casually a lil bit scary, it's veryyy fun. Good performances and work all around
I really hope they make more horror like this again moving forward
Saw this last night. The setting in the studio and rising tension worked.
I feel that it could have gone further though. Lost me a bit at the end

How were the scares? Big or kind of understated

There may be like 1 jumpscare, but I don’t even think it really counts. it more so just shows you the horror, I would say it some moments later on are abrupt so that quick jump to horror works imo I hope that answers your question, I want to see it again now that I know what to expect
Anti AI crowds coming for this movies neck now
I’m still interested personally
Justified imo. Are the film makers such bums that they can't afford to pay 20 bucks to some creative on Fiver or something? Embarrassing tbh
Didn't watch Secret Invasion
Stopped watching True Detective S4 after ep 1
Will not be watching this

I think she missed the point in that it's supposed to be disfigured and unsettling lol

human beings were painting disfigured and unsettling things like 200-300 years ago. its not like the one thing a human can't do is making something that looks unsettling. 'we wanted it to look a bit off and weird!' has been the go-to defence for ai art in stuff so far but i think it falls short. they should just say they paid an artist TO make the a.i, so no ones being cut out
i also think its a bit different in this film since its an indie & they're apparently just quick cards that flash up? rather than a full credit sequence or something more substantial

Idiotic thing to be upset over
sucks that an original horror movie that had a good chance at being semi-successful, falls short like this because of it's use of AI. seems to be such a small thing in the movie but idk. haven't seen it yet. they def should've just hired a graphic designer for that. not complicated at all.

Give them an inch they'll take a mile
It's not about this particular instance. If we excuse this and they know they can get away with it, they'll keep pushing further and further
