    That’s just self-motivation. Successful people know how to motivate themselves. But doing so, while increasing your chances, does not guarantee success, nothing does.

    People can do whatever they want to motivate themselves, the problem I have with the LAO is that people make it seem that it’s a law, like gravity, when it’s not.

    Yes you obviously have to put the work in in the end. Not denying that. But don't you have the feeling or observation that ppl who have a good/optimistic outlook on life have better chances and luck putting the same work as ppl with a normal/even pessimistic outlook.

    I feel like it is a helping hand

    @Makoprix

    Believing you ARE the source is a very common misconception when people realize that we all connected and come from the same place. So they think that because the universe creates, then they have the SAME creative power, when in reality you’re just what was created, not the creator.

    I read the book The Secret back in middle school. It says that there’s no need to work, you just gotta ask the universe as if you already have it and then just continue with your normal life because the universe will take care of the rest. However if you work for it is like you’re telling the universe that you need it and you don’t have it so you will never have it.

    That’s not what successful people do, so I don’t believe they follow the LAO, they simply talk about basic self motivation techniques and people automatically want to attach that to the LAO.

    You see? He’s saying that LAO is just like the law of gravity, it ALWAYS works! That’s just not true. Nothing, absolutely NOTHING guarantee success, and that’s something that people who follow this seem to have a hard time accepting

    Show me a video of Bob Proctor telling their followers that you have to put in work. Mental work doesn’t count.

    Respect g.

    Your way of thinking and life will literally change as you read and apply the principles. It's very straightforward.

  • "The law of attraction" really just means believe in yourself. There’s no magic that will help you accomplish the things you want and there’s no outside forces that will manifest your dreams for you. It’s all placebo, it’s meant to make you believe in yourself, believe in the fact that you can accomplish your dreams. I think there might be better ways to believe in yourself
