Funk as a genre may be classic, but I feel like the west coast hip hop that sprung off of it is a bit dated. Dated doesn’t automatically mean bad, it’s just not as timeless as people want it to be. This is all my opinion.

Southern imo aged better than west coast. But I can agree to disagree
