Honestly Nevermind is a great example of that.

It’s gotten more love overtime but the hate for that album was overkill when it dropped. I think it was worse than MM&TBS tbh.

Section 80/GKMC type rapping would be perfect imo

Hillbillies delivery wise sounded close to GKMC so there’s a chance that’s the delivery we get more on the next album, since every album he sounds different.

The reason some people call Morale a flop is because the expectations were higher than TPAB

Always happens with long waits, people assume artists are writing their best ever work. Reality was covid f***ed up any chance to tour which is a big reason why he loves releasing albums, and he admittedly had a writer block

I will never expect him to top TPAB again cos quite frankly, as a Kendrick fan, its just that goddamn good. Im just happy that each album is a different type of listening experience and thats a guarantee for the next one
