As title implies, wondering what you all think about this?

It is quite obvious that things won't return back to "normal" and even it does I'm extremely curious as to how things will change. As horrible as this situation is, it really is an interesting time to be alive.

Something I am mainly interested in is how things will change at a social level.

Some questions I have been thinking about, when things begin to settle down, vaccines etc. ~

Will the lack of physical activity cause a growth in things like social media usage, and services to be readily available online? (Think virtual doctor appointments that are now a thing). Will more businesses switch their focus on having an online presence, allowing more people to work from home?

Or do you see a decline in the use of technology once things settle down? The idea of people valuing more physical relationships and "being in the moment".

How long will it be until you can feel comfortable at any type of public-social event? (Ie. club, parties, etc.). How will this effect businesses in general? Will people still be hesitant in going out?

Or even simply - Do you think things will return to trend once the vaccine is distributed? (aka no fear of going out, physical interactions, etc.) What will life be like until then?

On a flip side - Do you think there will be a surge within the arts & design? As a result from people being quarantined and at home. What is interesting about this whole quarantine is that we now have the luxury of time.

Anybody here from any countries in Asia? (Ex. S. Korea). How are things there?

All I can hope is my company (and others) who have an archaic view of “nobody is really working unless they’re physically at their desk” is dead. I’d love to be able to work from home once or twice a week. Companies who have people who are 100% capable to work remote shouldn’t have any excuse after this.

I don’t think companies will have the work from home part but maybe they’ll think about giving employees more time off for families

Once/if there is a vaccine it will take a while for people to meet in big gatherings because of how easy it to get

I think that will be the case. I'm sure companies are beginning to see that people can still be productive while working from home. It's evident that companies have the capacity and money to allow people to work from home.

Definitely. You save alot of time and money. But any type creative company, let's say a fashion house, I think wouldn't be able to function this way.
