There have been a lot of super low effort threads recently

Particularly involving just posting a tweet in order to create a level of engagement or to propagate a narrative without having to actually commit to a position yourself

How do people feel about these? Should we ban threads that just contain a tweet? Set a minimum word count for threads? Looking for input from the user base in how you guys want this stuff to be handled

I think the focus should be less purely on the Twitter thing and more on the "look here's a really dumb Twitter opinion/news article I'm posting for engagement".

Agree with this. I like high quality threads as much as the next guy but if people want to discuss something from a tweet and thats all OP is, then I don't really see a problem with that

One change could be saying why a thread was locked and why someone is muted/banned.
