To be fair it only encourages hive mind if the dislikes/likes affect visibility of a post/thread
We can also add a dislike button that doesn’t show the number of dislikes and just use that internally for example

10+ reports in a certain time frame = mute
30+ = suspender for a certain amount of days
100+ = auto ban plus ip ban
People just reporting shouldn't be enough for a mute.

If you get like 100 reports on a single thread or post it's a sign that you are doing something very wrong and maybe you shouldn't be here.

Yeah, we can whine and moan (myself included) about twitter threads and hate threads for certain artists being allowed to rock while others get locked before it get past 5 pages and low effort bait threads but I think it comes down to just a lack of transparency.
People deadass get muted and banned and just have no idea why. Threads get locked and no one has any idea why. I think just a lil bit of transparency would go a long way in cleaning up the low effort threads cause right now s*** is the wild wild west.
Also prolly should make new users not post threads at the start. Cause a lot of em is alts that just wanna troll and trash the sxn.
